Valentine's Day Baskets for my 6 year old son and 2.5 year old daughter

I’ve never given my kids’ Valentine’s Day gifts before! Sam (6) was in Target with me last week and noticed all the fun goodies and asked for some for him and Eliana (2.5). I figured new toys would be good to keep them occupied while I have limited use of my hand (I’m having carpal tunnel release surgery). And that, my friends, is how it came to be that my kids will expect a basket every February until the end of time!

If you’re looking for inspiration, I’ve linked most of what I put in our baskets below.

If you are curious about my carpal tunnel experience, I shared info in my Instagram stories and saved it to a “carpal tunnel” highlights and also linked the brace, jar opener and box cutter that helped me here.

Valentine’s Day Gift Basket and tissue paper

I just used a basket that I had on hand (it’s this in medium size from The Container Store). The tissue paper is so pretty and from Target. Target does have more great baskets, so I will link a few below.

The Gifts

We got an assortment of things, mainly chosen by Sam (6). If you’re looking for more love-themed books, check out this list of mine (many are on sale now)
