Recently, I was planning a get together with some other mom friends and thought it would be so much more relaxing and intimate to host them in my home, but I didn't want to cook.
Instead I had Chef Laura Ramirez do the shopping and cooking. It was definitely the right decision. It was entirely relaxing and the meal was delicious, beautiful, and restaurant quality, but better!
I'm excited to tell you about Laura, the various services that she offers, her pricing, a 10% discount for my readers, and to give you the chance to win your own dinner (discount and giveaway details are at the end of the post)!
About Chef Laura
Laura is trained Colombian chef. She worked in countless kitchens and became the personal chef of the Portugal Embassy, where she worked for two years hosting parties for politicians and dignitaries. More recently, she worked at the restaurant Jean-George.
Laura and I had met in person and chatted about her services, so I had an idea of what to expect. She was going to be preparing a three course meal for us and gave me a few choices for each course. She came to my home 1.5 hours before the dinner with fresh seasonal ingredients that she had bought at the farmers market. Laura has a lovely personality and was a pleasure to have in my home. I had chosen salmon as the main dish and one of my guests in vegetarian, she had no problem creating a separate vegetarian dish for her.
